At Tamaris, we believe the most meaningful experiences are created when people come together around shared curiosity, conversation and a sense of place.

Inspired by the richness of British heritage, culture and landscape, Tamaris curates thoughtful gatherings that invite people to slow down, connect and discover the stories behind the traditions, places and ideas that shape our cultural life.

Founded on the belief that the most valuable moments often come from the people we meet and the conversations we share, Tamaris brings together individuals who appreciate culture, heritage and meaningful connection, creating space for new perspectives, friendships and shared experiences to unfold.

THE FOUNDER

I grew up in a small city in Central Asia as part of an ethnic minority community. From a young age, I was curious about the world beyond where I was born. I often wondered how people lived in other countries, what their traditions were, and what life might feel like somewhere completely different.

In 2015, I moved to the UK. It was a big change, but very quickly I fell in love with British culture, the history, the countryside, the quiet elegance of its traditions, and the way experiences are often shared around a table, in a country house, or through long conversation.

Although my husband is British and from just outside the Cotswolds, I wanted to explore the country in my own way. I was curious about everything. I wanted to sit in beautiful restaurants and enjoy the chef’s special menu. I wanted to learn clay shooting, try horse riding, and discover the most beautiful manor houses hidden in the countryside.

It was never about trying to fit into places where I did not belong, but about finding the places where I truly did. What fascinated me most were the genuine experiences and the people behind them – the story of a chef who has spent years perfecting his craft, the warmth of a country host welcoming guests into their family estate, and conversations with people whose lives and experiences broaden your own view of the world.

Those moments shaped the way I see life. What matters is never simply the place itself, but the meaningful experiences we share with the right people.

That idea became Tamaris.

Tamaris was created to bring people closer to the true spirit of Britain through thoughtfully curated experiences that connect people, culture, place and story. Whether it is a countryside tradition, an exceptional dining experience, or a private gathering with remarkable individuals, each moment is designed to feel genuine, personal and memorable.

Because in the end, the most valuable experiences in life are not about where you are. They are about the people you meet, the stories you hear, and the moments that stay with you long after the day ends.

I have known Kaylee for several years and have attended a few events she has hosted. What always stands out is the energy she brings into a room. The moment she arrives everything feels warmer and more relaxed. She has a natural way of speaking with everyone, making sure no one feels left out and that conversations flow easily. Kaylee is incredibly thoughtful when it comes to bringing people together. She notices who might have something in common and gently introduces them, often creating friendships or professional connections that might never have happened otherwise. What I admire most is how genuine she is. Her curiosity about people is real, and you can feel that she truly enjoys hearing their stories. Every event with Kaylee feels personal and full of life. She brings warmth, curiosity and generosity into the room, and you always leave feeling you have had a meaningful evening with interesting people.

I’d go as far to say that through their curation, my perspective on Britain was completely redefined. The team behind Tamaris bring an intangible but also very real magic to travel opening doors to private worlds and remarkable individuals that I simply didn’t know existed. I have a lot to thank them for when it comes to memories that feel less like a holiday and more like a meaningful social awakening.
